Design - Week 1/Intro

This Past Week:

  • Created base skill lists for all 6 playable party members
  • Created concepts for enemy variations
  • Decided which characters from the comics to adapt into the boss fights of the game
  • Created a list of status conditions that can be applied onto characters in battle
  • Refined concepting document with details about characters, skills, initiative, and enemies

Goals for the Next 2 Weeks:

  • Determine the mechanics of Chapters, the Mist economy, and enemy progression
  • Re-read original comics to come up with new material for characters/enemies/skills/environments
    • Re-evaluate existing skills (in particular: Flip’s WAKE UP should not be a base skill, and should be more powerful)
    • Start creating skills for enemies
  • Draft a damage calculation formula
  • Expand on the properties, abilities, and lore of all bosses
  • Start drafting dialog
